"GIMME A DO-OVER"- PART IV: 1978 PETE ROSE

I never liked the photo Topps used for Pete Rose and his 1978 card. First off, what is with the bat that got between the photographer and Rose? May as well have been a finger over the camera lens!
In addition to the obvious fault of the picture, Rose himself looks bored out of his mind. Certainly NOT a good picture that represents "Charlie Hustle".
After a run of nice shots of Rose from 1975-1977, Topps really stunk it up with this one.
So I will gladly recreate this card and use a much better photo of Rose from about the same time period.
Nothing too special, but at least it's a lot better than what was originally issued. See below:
