Up
on the blog today we have a “not so missing” 1976 card for former
pitcher Ed Glynn, who made his Major League debut in 1975 with three
appearances for the Detroit Tigers:
Glynn went 0-2 over that time with a 4.30 earned run average, pitching
14.2 innings with a start thrown in, striking out eight along with eight
 walks.
He’d go on to pitch for 10 Big League seasons, moving on to the New York
Mets, then Cleveland Indians before a final stop for only three
appearances with the Montreal Expos in 1985.
All told, Glynn ended up with a career 12-17 record, with a 4.25 ERA
over 175 appearances and 264.2 innings pitched, along with 12 saves and
one complete game.
