Here’s a “not really missing” 1972 card for Adrian Garrett, who only appeared in 14 games for the Oakland A’s in 1971:
Garrett collected all of three hits in 21 at-bats for the A’s in his
limited play, batting .143 with a homer and two runs batted in while
playing the outfield.
He would go on to play another five years in the Majors, all as a
part-time player playing for four organizations: Atlanta Braves, Chicago
Cubs, A’s and California Angels, until 1976.
All told he ended up with a .185 batting average with 51 hits in 276 at-bats in 163 games.
